Meet Our 2024-25 PTA Board

Our PTA board is a passionate and dedicated group of individuals who work hard to enhance the educational experience for all our students. Each member brings unique skills and perspectives, and together we are committed to building a strong, supportive Pacheco community.

  • Rosa Couto, President

    Rosa oversees and coordinates the efforts of our executive board to ensure everything runs smoothly. She has been on the PTA Board in several rolls for four years and has volunteered at Pacheco in many capacities.

  • Denese Tapia, Vice President

    Denese is a vital partner to our PTA president, helping to guide our mission. She has served on our PTA board for three years and is the driving force behind our Restaurant Night fundraising program.

  • Kim Westermann, CPA, Treasurer

    Kim is the backbone of our financial operations, efficiently maintaining our permanent records to track unit funds and financial transactions. Her expertise and diligence ensure our PTA runs smoothly and transparently.

  • Lindsay Karaelias, Recording Secretary

    Lindsay plays a critical role in our PTA by capturing the discussions at board and association meetings in our Minutes as outlined in our Bylaws. She is the chairperson for our annual Walk-a-Thon event and rallies the community together for this great cause.

  • Sandra Olea-Courter, Corresponding Secretary

    Sandra is the official host of our PTA and works to create a welcoming atmosphere at our meetings and events. In addition to the many volunteer rolls she has filled over the years, including Salsa Night Chairperson, she is leads Hospitality and keep us all excited about our upcoming events.

  • Maria Quen, Parlimentarian

    Maria helps to manage meetings and offers guidance on parliamentary procedure. As the Chair of the Bylaws Committee, Maria ensures our unit’s bylaws are reviewed annually and updated every five years. She has been passionately involved with ELAC over the years.

  • Gabriela Cuarao, Historian

    Gabriela captures and preserves our PTA’s activities and achievements, ensuring our history is well-documented. Additionally, she serves on the ELAC board, further supporting our community.
